Dumpsters For the Triad Area Projects
When looking at a dumpster rental, it’s good to consider where you’ll place the dumpster. Some can be stored in driveways or flat, paved areas on a property. Generally, these won’t need a permit, but it’s best to contact your local government to find out if there’s a need for a permit. Also, if there’s a homeowner’s association, you’ll want to reach out to them to see if there are any other permissions needed.
As a roll-off dumpster company, we cannot be held responsible for damaged driveways, sidewalks, landscape, etc. Remember we’re dropping a multi-thousand pound piece of metal on the ground, it’s possible that damage will occur. Please plan accordingly, by either putting down plywood (which will go underneath the four wheels of the roll-off dumpster) or put it in a location where potential damage is okay. We handle both delivery and pick up, but it will be up to you to clear an area for placement. It’s also important that you know what can be put into the dumpster. There are prohibitions as to what can and can’t be disposed of with a dumpster.
After you’ve placed your dumpster, you need to come up with a strategy on filling it. Many may think that they can just throw whatever they want into the rental. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy. If there isn’t a plan, things can turn chaotic quickly. City regulations can make things harder if you’re not careful. Before putting anything in your dumpster, you’ll want to make sure that you’re aware of any weight limits or prohibited items in your city. Once that is squared away, you’ll want to place your heavier items first in order to anchor down the can. Afterwards, you’ll want to load up the dumpster from one end to the other. This compacts all the trash, ensuring our get your money’s worth.
