Dumpsters For Charlotte County, Florida Projects
To start the process of renting a roll off dumpster, the first thing we recommend is checking with your city to see if you’ll need a permit. For example, you may rent a dumpster in Port Charlotte, Florida without a permit as long as it is on property you own. But if you keep it on the street or sidewalk instead of the driveway, a permit may be required. If you’re renting for a construction job on a property you don’t own, you will have to make sure you have the necessary paperwork with your city as well as space for our trucks to maneuver through. We always suggest putting down plywood to protect your surface! As a roll-off dumpster company, we cannot be held responsible for damaged driveways, sidewalks, landscape, etc. Remember we’re dropping a multi-thousand pound piece of metal on the ground, it’s possible that damage will occur. Please plan accordingly, by either putting down plywood (which will go underneath the four wheels of the roll-off dumpster), or put it in a location where potential damage is okay.
After your dumpster rental is delivered, the next part is filling it. Just like with the permit, it’s best to see if there are any weight restrictions or prohibited items in your city. Once you have that squared away, it’s time to start using your dumpster! The best way to fill your dumpster is by loading up from one end of the dumpster to the other, and making the base your heavier items. This ensures you get your money’s worth and compacts all your waste in your rental.
